Military, Veteran & First Responder Appreciation

How It Started

One afternoon, while repairing my sister's driveway, her neighbor was impressed and asked for my contact information. This led to fixing other driveways in the neighborhood, and the idea of "My Tractor Guy" was born. Just like having "my plumber" or "my electrician," we aim to be your go-to for grading and excavation services in the Central North Carolina area.

Who We Are

As a family- and veteran-owned, owner-operated company, My Tractor Guy keeps the work personal — hire us and you're dealing directly with the people running the machines, not a faceless crew. Our compact equipment is a real advantage: it's nimble enough to get into the tight spots larger outfits can't reach, and precise enough for the detailed work others would rather skip. And when a job calls for bigger iron, we bring in the right equipment to handle it. We match the machinery to the work in front of us — so regardless of the size of the job, we've got you covered.

What We Do

We specialize in a range of grading, excavation, and land clearing services to meet your needs. From retaining walls and slope correction to gravel driveway installation and repair, we ensure your property is well-maintained. Our excavation services cover important areas like french drains, trenches, and culvert pipe installation or replacement. Additionally, our land clearing service involves efficient brush cutting, debris removal, and thorough lot clearing. Count on us for comprehensive solutions tailored to your specific requirements.

Where We Serve

Conveniently located in Jamestown, NC, My Tractor Guy proudly serves clients in Guilford, Randolph, Davidson, Forsyth, Rockingham, Alamance counties, and the surrounding areas. Whether you're in need of excavation, grading, or land clearing services, we are here to assist you. Give us a call today to discuss your project, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to work with you and meet your needs.

Scott Scott

"Hey! I'm Scott, a proud Marine veteran owner and primary equipment operator at My Tractor Guy Grading & Excavation. Construction and contracting have been an integral part of my life since childhood — my dad was a contractor and my grandfather a carpenter. I started running equipment young, and had clutch control and gear shifting on a tractor figured out by second grade. When I'm not on the job site operating equipment, I'm building our website and keeping up with the new technology and innovations in the grading and excavation industry. Together, Shannon and I work to give every customer a great experience, and I'd welcome the chance to earn your business."

Shannon Shannon

"Hi, I'm Shannon — I run just about everything at My Tractor Guy that isn't a piece of equipment. That covers the bookkeeping and contracts, keeping the office in order, and the behind-the-scenes part of every job: scheduling the work, coordinating equipment, lining up materials, and reworking the calendar when the weather has other plans (which, around here, is often). My job is to make working with us easy from the first phone call to the final invoice — no surprises, and no chasing us down for answers. I'm looking forward to helping get your project on the schedule."

Satisfaction Guarantee Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work, plain and simple. Before we start, we put the scope and the standards in writing, so we're both clear on what a finished job should look like. If we wrap up and something doesn't measure up to what we agreed to, let us know within [30 days] and we'll come back and make it right — at no additional charge. We'd always rather fix a concern than leave you with one. The written agreement is what we both work from, which keeps things fair and predictable on both sides.
